The Position:
For a client in Geneva we are headhunting a CPO, Global Head of Procurement. You will be responsible for the entire global procurement of NPR categories at our clients office in Geneva. Important task is to find and analyse global synergies and to restructure and professionalize the global procurement organization, with a spend of around 600 mln euros.
Tasks and responsibilities
You will lead the global procurement teams ( 24 fte total ) to a strategic level in procurement,
You will analyse synergies and renegotiate most important contracts,
You will improve internal and external processes and select and implement professional procurement software,
You will lead multi disciplinary project teams and improve internal co-operation among various teams,
You will make a strategic Procurement plan for the coming 3 years,
You will report directly to the CEO.
Your Profile
University or MBA degree in economics, management or similar,
+10 years of experience in a senior procurement role in NPR in a multinational company such as Procurement Director,
Knowledge of sustainable procurement, facility management and/or construction,
Strongly developed analytical skills,
Quickly in analyses of organisations,
Professional in setting up improvement plans,
Excellent communications and managing skills,
Fluent in English, both verbally as in writing,
Knowledge of German or Italian is an asset.
